Surfest Newcastle Australia 2022 is made possible through the support of Burton Automotive,ย the NSW government and Destination NSW, the City of Newcastle, a crowd funding Newcastle business community, Wandiyali ATSI, Lake Macquarie City Council, Sanbah Surf and Newcastle and Hunter regional businesses. Surfest 2022 is a mix World Surf League (WSL) professional and amateur surfing contests including the City of Newcastle Pro presented by Burton Automotive ย a WSL menโs Qualifying Series 5000. The AAP Consulting Women’s Pro, a WSL Qualifying Series 5000, ย the Lake Mac City Pro Junior, a WSL Qualifying Series 1000 and the Wandiyali Indigenous Classic.
