Hunter Water Announces Sponsorship for 2011 and Beyond
Hunter Water is committed to working with the community on a range of environmental awareness programs delivered through education, events and sponsorship activities.
The purpose of the Hunter Water Community Funding Program is to encourage local community groups and service organisations to undertake activities which address local environmental and water issues, and protect and enhance their natural environment.
Hunter Water has been a sponsor of Australia’s premier international surfing classic, Surfest, for over 20 years. We’re proud to continue our focus on supporting talented youth in the area and promote our stunning coastline. As well as the ‘Hunter Water Encouragement Awards’ which provide Novocastrian competitors with financial assistance, we also sponsor the ‘Stars of the Future’ award which helps young surfers prepare for careers in professional surfing.
