FLYING INTO NEWCASTLE AIRPORT

Newcastle Airport is located 25 minutes from the heart of Newcastle.  The Airport is serviced by a number of airlines including:

An alternative to Sydney Airport, the chaotic Sydney traffic, expensive tolls and the two hour drive to Newcastle is Newcastle Airport.  Many travellers flying to Newcastle hub through Brisbane, the Gold Coast or Melbourne and then fly into Newcastle Airport.  Note: flights need to be booked as two separate sectors rather than connecting flights; and travellers are advised to check the airline websites for excess baggage charges and limits.
