The Tooheys Extra Dry Miss Surfest 2014 search for the nation’s most beautiful swimsuit models has started at venues across the nation. Surfest is now in its 29th year and as it heads towards three decades of celebrations the event has grown stronger and stronger showcasing the world’s best professional surfers all vying for the title of Surfest champion at Merewether Beach, Newcastle N.S.W. The City of Newcastle comes alive during this, the only annual international event in Newcastle. Surfest 2014 is set to be the biggest the region has ever seen.
A big part of Surfest 2014 is the ever popular Miss Surfest competition. In 2013 the Miss Surfest grew into a regional event with venues across N.S.W participating. In 2014 the Tooheys Extra Dry Miss Surfest Search will see venues and models participating from across the country. The 2014 winner of the Tooheys Extra Dry Miss Surfest Search will represent Australia at a international level as Miss Australia.
Spots are limited with only 20 venues across Australia having the opportunity to run their own Miss Surfest competition between November 2013 to February 2014.
On Sunday 23rd February 2014 at the conclusion of Surfest Newcastle will be the host of the biggest after-party of the year. The world’s best surfers celebrating their Surfest success as well being part of the crowning of the Tooheys Extra Dry Miss Surfest Australia 2014.
